As a Long-Term Substitute Teacher at New Story Schools, you will support students with social, emotional, behavioral, and learning needs by maintaining instructional continuity and promoting growth in academic, behavioral, and social skills. You’ll work collaboratively with staff and families to provide consistent, individualized support in a structured, student-centered learning environment.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in special education, education, or a related field from an accredited institution
Valid Pennsylvania Private Academic teaching certification in Special Education or Instructional I/II certification in Special Education
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to inclusive practices and individualized student support
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
