Special Education Teacher

At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. As a Special Education Teacher at New Story Schools, you will design and deliver individualized instruction that helps every student make meaningful progress. You’ll create a structured, engaging classroom that supports both learning and social-emotional growth.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification

• Minimum three months of experience working with students with disabilities

• Knowledge of child development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
