Business Assurance Partner (9-month fixed term)

This role can be based in our Wellington (preferred), Christchurch or Auckland offices.   Who we are New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is New Zealand’s international business development agency. We work with some of New Zealand’s most forward-thinking companies, helping them grow internationally—bigger, better, faster—for the benefit of New Zealand and the world.   What you'll be doing As the Business Assurance Partner, you will work alongside the Director of Business Assurance to enable NZTE achieve its goals through effectively managing its risks and supporting people to make good decisions.   You will provide internal audit and risk advisory services to keep us safe and improve our organisation's operations. You will be working across all our internal teams, domestically and internationally, up to senior leadership levels to perform audit work, provide risk advisory services and continue to build our risk maturity.   You will act as a trusted advisor by building and maintaining strong relationships with key leaders and experts across all NZTE groups including the Director Business Assurance, our Lead Team and the Board's Audit and Risk Committee.    What you'll need to be successful You will be a natural collaborator and a strong communicator, at all levels.
