Regional Marketing and Communications Consultant - North America

Based in Vancouver   The Role Love telling stories? Nice but not enough. Love helping ambitious New Zealand companies win in the world's largest and most competitive market? Now we're talking. We're looking for a Regional Marketing and Communications Consultant to join NZTE's North America team. This isn't a traditional marketing role. You won't wait for briefs to arrive or spend days endlessly refining PowerPoint slides. You’ll be expected to get close to the business, spot what is needed and help make it happen. You will work with Trade Commissioners, Business Development Managers and exporters to help turn strategy into commercial results. You'll become embedded in industry sector teams, helping them identify opportunities, shape plans, solve problems and connect with the right expertise at the right time. Think of yourself as part marketing adviser, part project manager, part relationship manager and connector. One day you might be developing the marketing approach for a major conference activation.  The next, you could be helping shape the implementation of a sector growth plan, developing targeted content, or creating collateral to help New Zealand exporters succeed in North America.     Who We Are Te Taurapa Tūhono | New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is New Zealand’s international business development agency.
