Learning and Development Specialist
About the role:
This role manages and enhances learning platforms, including LMS administration, system integrations, user support, reporting, and performance optimization to ensure an effective and compliant learning environment. It also supports the delivery of training programs by coordinating learning content, managing access and workflows, and providing insights to drive employee development initiatives.
This is your new role:
- Lead the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Learning Management system (LMS) and other eLearning platforms through partnerships with external system vendors, internal IT personnel and business process owners that ensures compliance with corporate information technology and security management systems, policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines of Nexperia.
- Integrate learning curriculum for courses and programs into various learning platforms including e-learning, virtual learning, and web applications using multiple authoring and multimedia tools with advisory role to the users on platform selections and usage that fits various purposes.
- Coordinate integration of LMS with various internal systems such SAP and Workday and platforms to ensure high data accuracy and efficiency with necessary governance.
- Facilitate and participate in the LMS development & course delivery strategies that are learner-centered, user-friendly to provide meaningful and dynamic user experience.
- Utilize LMS reporting capabilities and custom reports to assist with planning and managing Nexperia’s training and development initiatives.
- Coordinate instructor-led courses and upload session recordings into LMS.
- Administer user groups with effective access management, providing training and step-by-step guidance to end users and administrators or power users.
- Develop supporting workflows to ensure that all learning resources are properly set up and available to ensure optimal performance of the LMS.
- Actively monitor the performance of the learning management system, and traffic flow to the system and recommend/implement improvements.
- Work closely with IT personnel on backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure continued systems availability.
- Provide reporting in line with leadership and audit requirements.
This is you:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, or related fields. Related ICT certifications in learning technologies is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated at least 3 years’ experience in e-learning management technologies, ICT technologies, Human Resource or services management, web development, operations or related experiences.
- Knowledge and skills in defining, analyzing, designing, and documenting business requirements.
- Fluency in oral and written English with ability to work well with people at all levels and lead relevant workgroups.
- Creative & diversified in providing learning and system solutions.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and diverse work environment.
- Reporting and data fluency is a requirement.
- Experience in UX is a bonus.
