Main Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript).
Design, implement, and execute automated tests for new and existing features.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and manual QA team members to define test plans and strategies.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve defects.
Continuously improve the automation framework and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure timely and accurate test coverage for regression and feature testing.
Contribute to quality best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement in QA processes.
Core Requirements
Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer (3+ years).
Strong proficiency in automation frameworks such as Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress or similar.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, XRAY) is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Bonus Points For
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, LoadRunner)
Familiarity with containerization and cloud-based testing environments (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure)
