As a By-Law Enforcement Officer with Norfolk County, you’ll investigate complaints, conduct inspections, and enforce municipal by-laws and provincial legislation to help protect community standards and public interests. Your work will support safe, well-managed neighbourhoods through fair enforcement, compliance, and public education.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer to enforce Municipal By-Laws and Ontario provincial acts including, but not limited to, receiving and documenting verbal and written complaints and serving Orders.
- Interpret bylaws, provincial acts, regulations for the purpose of administering and enforcing the appropriate legislation to an acceptable standard.
- Perform on-site inspections of By-Law violations by taking photographs and interviewing alleged violator(s) and other individuals as required.
