Paramedic

What we expect from you as a Northwest Ambulance Paramedic:

Northwest Ambulance Paramedics are expected to provide the highest level of patient care to our patients and excellent customer service to our partnered facility staff. The Paramedic is responsible for supervising patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport. Duties include providing excellent patient care, safe lifting and transferring of patients, operating emergency vehicles safely, adhering to company policies, completing documentation, responding to dispatch instructions, maintaining safety standards, participating in continuing education, keeping vehicles and stations clean, maintaining equipment and supplies, communicating effectively, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Treat and transport patients from the field or from healthcare facilities to a higher level of care to include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and special populations. 

• Utilize equipment such as IV Pumps, ICU ventilators, cardiac monitors and additional advanced equipment to ensure excellent patient care. 

• The ability to perform duties as a paramedic to include, but are not limited to, intubation, administration of paralytics using Rapid Sequence and Delayed Sequence airway management, surgical airway, needle thoracostomy, orogastric tube placement, intravenous and intraosseous access.&nbs
