Android Developer

OBDeleven is all about making car tech easy and accessible for everyone. For over 10 years, we’ve been building powerful yet simple diagnostic and customization tools for car enthusiasts worldwide. 

As we continue to expand the OBDeleven ecosystem, we're looking for a Android Developer who will help us build and scale mobile experiences used by automotive enthusiasts and professionals around the world.

This is not a typical Android-only role. You'll work with a shared Kotlin Multiplatform codebase powering both Android and iOS applications, collaborate closely with hardware and R&D teams, and help shape innovative solutions at the intersection of software and automotive technology.

What you'll do

• Work with Kotlin Multiplatform code shared between Android and iOS applications
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile features used by customers worldwide
• Tackle ambiguous, loosely defined problems where the right solution isn't always obvious
• Work in an AI-augmented engineering environment, using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and other coding agents to accelerate development and experimentation
• Implement logic for innovative new features that have a direct impact on our products and users
• Collaborate closely with mobile, backend, hardware/embedded, and other R&D engineers
