OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT currently has an opening for a Junior Proposal Manager/Writer to support proposal development/submission activities in response to requests from Federal Government clients. You’ll work collaboratively with business development colleagues, senior leadership, client program managers, and subject matter experts to win new business.

This position is based at our McLean, VA corporate office on a hybrid schedule. The role requires two (2) to four (4) days onsite each week, with onsite presence scaling up during peak periods or as required. Candidates must be able to reliably work onsite up to four days per week.

Key Role:
Support proposal coordination and management, development, and revision of major proposals. Apply knowledge and expertise of the proposal development process. Participate as part of a proposal team or lead proposal efforts in the cradle-to-grave development of a proposal. Apply working knowledge of teaming strategies with large and small businesses.
