Piping Designer / Drafter - Fuel Recycling

Thanks for your interest in Oklo! We are searching for a Piping Designer / Drafter to join our Fuel Recycling Engineering team.

Position Description

The person in this role is responsible for developing and maintaining the engineering drawings that define Oklo's first-of-a-kind (FOAK) nuclear fuel recycling facility. This includes creation and maintenance of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), piping layouts, equipment arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and other engineering documentation supporting the design, construction, and operation of the facility.

This role will work closely with process, mechanical, electrical, controls, and systems engineers to translate engineering concepts into accurate, controlled engineering drawings that support design reviews, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and licensing.

The ideal candidate enjoys building clean, organized drawing packages, identifying inconsistencies across disciplines, and helping engineering teams efficiently communicate complex systems through high-quality documentation.
