Job Description
ON.energy is setting the standard for large load interconnection. ON’s patented AI UPS™ is a medium-voltage UPS that serves as a firewall, protecting the data center from the grid, and the grid from the data center. With multiple gigawatts currently under construction, we are enabling grid-safe data centers.
The Facility Systems Technician will inspect, operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair the essential infrastructure supporting ON.energy's Houston offices, warehouses, and high-power laboratories. The role focuses on electrical distribution, UPS systems, generators, HVAC and cooling, plumbing, controls, and life-safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor critical systems, environmental conditions, alarms, and controls; complete equipment rounds and document operating readings.
- Perform assigned preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with procedures, manufacturer guidance, permits, and safety requirements.
- Use drawings, schematics, meters, and diagnostic tools to identify faults within authorized work boundaries.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions, power interruptions, leaks, temperature alarms, and other abnormal facility conditions.&l
