Role Summary
Our Research & Development team is looking for a hands-on Test Engineer to join our Houston team. This is a versatile, growth-oriented role for an engineer who wants to build a broad foundation across testing, design, and field work.
You will support our Test Engineering team in designing, integrating, and executing tests for state of the art power conversion systems, energy storage systems, and control architectures in high-stakes, advanced applications as part of ON.energy's Research and Development group. You will also contribute to electrical design deliverables and participate in the assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment in a laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate is curious and adaptable—comfortable moving between a lab bench, a CAD tool, and physical equipment on the same day. You should be eager to learn new tools and technologies, including simulation and programming
