Casualty Consultant

Optimal, on behalf of its client, an established Greek insurance brokerage specializing in business insurance and risk management, is seeking a Casualty Consultant based in Athens.

Scope of Role:

The Casualty Consultant supports the Casualty team in advising corporate clients on liability insurance. The role involves close collaboration with senior colleagues across a broad range of clients and projects, offering opportunities to build and deepen practical expertise in liability risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide insurance advisory services for Casualty risks, including General Liability, Public & Products Liability, Employers’ Liability and Professional Indemnity, where applicable.
• Analyze clients’ operations, contractual obligations and liability exposures to support the design of appropriate insurance structures and tailored liability programs aligned with their risk profiles and industry requirements.
• Prepare underwriting submissions and technical presentations for insurance markets, and manage a portfolio of liability-focused accounts, supporting renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy endorsements.
• Provide technical support to Key Account Managers and act as a point of contact for clients on liability insurance matters, including claims procedures, policy responses and coverage triggers.
