About the Role
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will own end-to-end supply planning for Oura's product portfolio — from production through delivery to our customers. This is not a narrowly scoped execution role; you will connect demand signals, production constraints, inventory positions, and channel requirements into a coherent supply plan and own the tradeoffs that come with it.
You'll operate across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels, working with internal teams and external partners to ensure product is in the right place at the right time. When plans break — and they will — you'll diagnose root causes, evaluate options, and drive resolution rather than escalate by default.
This role sits within our Supply Chain team and reports into Supply Chain leadership. You will work most closely with demand planning, logistics, finance, commercial, and operations teams.
What You Will Do
- Own the global supply plan across channels, balancing service levels, inventory targets, and financial commitments. Make allocation decisions and defend them with data.
- Manage the full inventory lifecycle — from inbound production through 3PL allocation to excess and obsolescence mitigation. You see the whole picture and act on it.
- Lead supply planning for new product introductions (NPIs) and peak execution cycles, coordinating timelines, risks, and contingency plans across engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
- Monitor production execution against plan. Identify exceptions early, quantify impact, and drive corrective action — not just flag issues.
- Build and maintain planning tools, dashboards, and workflows (including AI-enabled solutions) that increase visibility and reduce manual effort across the supply chain.
- Translate operational data into clear recommendations for leadership. You'll regularly brief stakeholders on supply health, risks, and tradeoff decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems, and cross-functional handoffs. Challenge the status quo when something isn't working.
- Partner with logistics on fulfillment strategy and with finance on inventory valuation, write-downs, and landed cost implications.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, supply/demand planning, or inventory management — ideally in consumer electronics, consumer hardware, or a similarly complex physical-product environment.
- You've owned a supply plan end to end, not just executed pieces of one. You understand how decisions in one part of the supply chain ripple through others.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity. You can take an ill-defined problem, structure it, and move it forward without waiting for perfect information.
- Strong quantitative skills — you build models, stress-test assumptions, and use data to make and communicate decisions. Advanced Excel/Sheets is a given; experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, o9, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions and influence without authority. You've built alignment with commercial, finance, logistics, or engineering teams on plans that required tradeoffs.
- Familiar with AI tools and open to using them to improve planning workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
Location
This is a hybrid role. The candidate should be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to come into the office 2–3 days per week.

Region 1 Base Pay Range: $112,000 - $140,000
