Home Health Aide Scheduler

Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is looking for a highly organized and reliable Home Health Aide Scheduler / Homecare Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating home health aides, managing schedules, ensuring proper coverage, and communicating with caregivers and clients to maintain smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable handling multiple priorities, and able to communicate professionally with both caregivers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain schedules for Home Health Aides (HHAs) based on client needs and availability.
• Assign caregivers to shifts and ensure all scheduled shifts have proper coverage.
• Handle call-outs, cancellations, and last-minute scheduling changes.
• Find replacement caregivers when there are staffing gaps or unexpected absences.
• Communicate with HHAs regarding schedules, assignments, availability, and changes.
• Communicate with clients and/or care teams regarding scheduling and coverage when necessary.
• Monitor attendance and ensure caregivers arrive as scheduled.
• Follow up on missed shifts, late arrivals, and other scheduling issues.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and update systems with changes in real time.
