Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Operational Management and various business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and support the successful execution of strategic projects.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic analytics team, contributing to high-impact projects aimed at enhancing operational performance, delivering world-class cost ratios, and maximizing profitable premium growth.
Responsibilities:
Passionate about linking our people, processes and systems to deliver awesome value for our staff, clients, shareholders and suppliers.
Building relationships and navigating a diverse range of stakeholders (IT, Digital, Actuarial, Operations) to deliver key results.
Achieve the above using our analytics toolset including:
- Analytics reports and cubes
- Work allocation models
- PBS & Manager Bonus – Salary structures
- Staff projections
- In depth data analysis of the value chain
- Translate analytical results into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for decision makers
- Build, maintain and improve predictive models to support business objectives
- Participate in strategic projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer outcomes
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, naturally curious, and passionate about using data to solve business problems. They should be comfortable working with building analytical solutions and engaging with stakeholders across multiple business areas to drive meaningful business outcomes
Qualifications
- Actuarial science, Data science or Mathematical Statistics degree
- Completion of CT Series of actuarial board exams (advantageous)
- 2+ years of Data analytics work experience (advantageous)
- Strong SQL and Excel skills
