Senior Producer (m/f/d)

Your mission

You own the delivery of our brand experience projects: from translating the creative concept into a workable production plan through to execution on site. You make sure that what we promised the client holds up technically, on schedule and commercially.

For every project you assemble the right team: project managers from our European production team and external trades through local partners. You bring in what the project actually needs.

OVAL is a leading European brand experience agency. As the production lead for OVAL DACH, you report directly to the Managing Director DACH and work closely with colleagues in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Paris.

How we work

If you create brand experiences, you work best together live. That is why we are on site together, in our office in Frankfurt am Main or at events we deliver for brands like Henkel, TikTok, Mazda and Haglöfs.

Your responsibilities

●      Translating creative concepts into robust production plans.

●      Assessing technical and commercial feasibility as early as the proposal stage.

●      Selecting, briefing and managing the partners and trades on your projects, together with the project managers from our European production team.

●      Ownership of external project costs and the profitability of your productions.

●      Maintaining and growing our partner network in the German market.

●      On-site production management and handover.

●      Using AI to make production planning, procurement and documentation faster and more precise.

Your profile

●      At least seven years of relevant experience producing live and brand experience projects, at an agency or a production company, including several years with full responsibility for production and budget.

●      Creative delivery and thorough, commercially sound planning are no contradiction for you. You are passionate about both, because only together do they work.

●      You raise problems early and openly, even when it is uncomfortable.

●      Composure and assertiveness, including when things get tight on site.

●      Solid knowledge of the relevant trades and an established, reliable network in the German market.

●      Confidence in procurement. You compare quotes, spot room to move and bring productions home commercially.

●      Experience producing with changing internal and external resources.

●      Familiarity with the relevant regulations and permit requirements in the German events environment.

●      Experience in international structures and enjoyment of working across markets.

●      Confident use of AI in production, e.g. for visualisations and feasibility checks, quote comparisons or run-of-shows. You know where AI helps and where experience decides. In the interview, you'll show us an example from one of your productions.

●      Fluent German and English. English is our day-to-day working language in European collaboration.

●      You live in or near Frankfurt am Main and are willing to travel within Europe.
