Photographer / Videographer / Editor

Based in Toronto and reporting to the Senior Director, Partnerships North America, this role will be responsible for creating high-quality photo and video content that brings our North American esports teams, players, talent, events and stories to life across social media, digital platforms and other channels. 

The Toronto KOI Call of Duty team (formerly Toronto Ultra) will be the primary focus of this role. From time to time, the position may also support other OverActive Media teams, leagues and projects, including opportunities to collaborate with our Movistar KOI team in Europe and the broader creative and video teams in Spain. 

This is a highly hands-on creative role. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking a project from idea and brief through production, photography/videography, editing and final delivery, while also being able to jump into fast-moving event coverage and respond to changing priorities. 

The role is hybrid, on average working between 20-24 hours per week, with work taking place from OverActive Media's Toronto office, at team and league events, tournaments, photo/video shoots and other locations. Some work may be completed remotely, outside regular business hours, on weekends or while travelling for events and competitions, including occasional travel within North America and internationally when required.
