Part-Time Finance Manager for a DTC Brand (US-based/Remote)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Financial Manager to help maintain accurate financial data, strengthen internal checks and balances, and ensure clean information is handed over to our external accounting agency.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong finance/accounting background who is also comfortable using AI to improve and automate financial workflows. You’ll work across different departments, review financial information, identify discrepancies, and help streamline reconciliation processes using tools such as Claude and MCP connectors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong internal checks and balances across departments before financial data is sent to the accounting agency
- Review and audit invoices from shipping providers, vendors, and other suppliers for errors, overcharges, duplicate charges, and missed claims
- Identify discrepancies and follow up with relevant teams or vendors to resolve issues
