Virtual School Social Worker - Georgia

Are you an experienced School Social Worker dedicated to making a profound impact on students with learning differences? Join Parallel's mission-driven team to support elementary, middle, and high school students for a district assignment in Georgia. Starting November 2, 2026, this full-time role (1.0 FTE / 37.5 hours/week, EST) focuses on delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling services for mild/moderate and at-risk student populations in a fully remote setting.

What You’ll Do

• Provide critical direct and indirect social work services to elementary, middle, and high school students and their families, with a primary focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 counseling services for mild/moderate and at-risk populations.
• Collaborate across school or IEP teams to develop comprehensive, tailored treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that incorporate measurable social work goals.
• Serve as a systemic expert by offering staff critical insights into the cultural, familial, and societal factors that influence student behavior, academic performance, and overall well-being.
• Lead mental health and behavioral interventions by designing positive behavioral strategies, tracking progress via Panorama, and performing comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations as caseload needs expand.
