Product Manager (Single Cell Sequencing Tech)

THE POSITION
As a Product Manager, you will own current and future products within the Evercode™ product lines and be responsible for their commercial success. You will be the central advocate for the customer internally while proactively building a community externally. To be successful, this person must be effective collaborating across product development, sales, support, and marketing teams to effectively communicate and champion product initiatives.
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL
- Manage the market development and on-market support for current and future products in Evercode™ single cell product lines
- Define the market need and requirements for new product concepts and development initiatives
- Advocate for the customer experience by engaging with customers and assess product strengths and areas for improvement
- Evaluate market opportunities within customer segments to drive strategic initiatives
- Understand and communicate the competitive landscape, updates, and opportunities to executive management and product teams
- Develop technical collateral and presentation decks to support sales efforts
- Establish and manage relationships with other commercial partners to drive product adoption
- Define and refine market positioning for current products
- Coordinate preparation and launch for new product introductions within product line
FOR THIS POSITION, WE LOOK FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in genomics or related field; Master’s degree or PhD preferred
- 5+ years of experience in genomics, preferably in single-cell or related field with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years experience with a Master’s degree or PhD
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience bringing a new product to market
- This position is ideally based in Seattle. If remote, candidates must be able and willing to travel regularly to our Seattle headquarters to support collaboration, planning, and key business initiatives. Travel is expected to be frequent and may occur as often as monthly or more based on business needs. If Seattle-based, occasional travel for conferences, customer meetings, and other business will be required
JOB CONDITIONS
- This position is office or home-office based and will require a reliable internet connection and suitable workspace to fulfill job duties effectively.
- Regular communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders will occur virtually through video conferencing, instant messaging, email, and other collaboration tools.
- This role requires extensive computer use and the ability to work effectively across multiple priorities, and time zones.
- Travel requirements: This position requires travel to company headquarters in Seattle (if not Seattle-based), industry conferences, and other team meetings. Candidates should have the flexibility to accommodate travel requirements as needed.
- May require occasional work outside of standard business hours to support global teams, product launches, critical business initiatives, or time-sensitive projects.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
