Key Responsibilities Payment Transaction Accounting -Own end-to-end accounting for payment transaction flows across acquiring, ensuring accurate recognition of transaction volumes, merchant fees, interchange, scheme charges, and other payment-related revenues and costs -Ensure payment processor and scheme settlement reports are accurately mapped and recorded within the general ledger -Oversee accounting for settlement, safeguarding, and suspense accounts, ensuring appropriate classification and treatment of timing differences -Review payment-related journal entries and ensure completeness and accuracy ahead of monthly and year-end close -Ensure appropriate accounting treatment of transaction-related receivables and payables, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, and scheme fee accruals -Support accurate revenue recognition and transaction cost reporting -Work with Product, Operations, and payment partners to ensure new products, payment flows, schemes, and processor changes are correctly reflected in the accounting framework Safeguarding & Reconciliation -Own the financial reconciliation and control framework supporting the safegua
