Executive Director

The Executive Director oversees the operations and management of a student housing community and is responsible for achieving financial and operational results of the asset. This position will be responsible for the overall big picture and will directly oversee leasing initiatives, CapEx projects, retail collections and communications and all personnel management and training.

*This position supports multiple property locations.*

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a high-quality on-site staff through implementation of effective recruitment, training, motivation and development programs
• Direct efforts to ensure all purchasing guidelines are followed
• Ensure leasing team achieves the highest standards regarding shopping report scores
• Enforce resident retention and service request follow-up programs
• Implement and monitor effective lease renewal programs
• Monitor an effective preventative maintenance program
• Promote safe work practices among on-site staff
• Effectively maintain product knowledge of community and competitive communities through consistent evaluation of market conditions and trends. Ensure leasing staff develops similar knowledge
• Direct efforts to implement sales and marketing plans, which effectively maximize rental income and budgeted occupancy
• Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents
• Achieve the highest possible net operating income throu
