International Community Ambassador

The International Community Ambassador at The Carmin will be the heart of our international resident experience. You will create a welcoming home for students from around the world, help them navigate life at Arizona State University and in the U.S., and connect them with peers through both structured programming and everyday interaction. You will work closely with your team to support resident satisfaction, retention, and leasing goals.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English, brings a strong sense of cultural awareness, and is passionate about creating a world-class experience for our residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as an advocate, leader, role model, and go-to resource for international residents at The Carmin
• Create and maintain a welcoming community for international students from around the world while introducing them to the American university experience
• Help international residents successfully transition into community living, life at Arizona State University, and the greater Tempe community
• Plan and host weekly and monthly cultural events and resident programming, both onsite and in the surrounding community
• Coordinate welcome efforts for international residents during August and January move-ins, and farewell efforts during December and May/July move-outs
