Director, Electrical Engineering
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Electrical Engineering is a senior technical and people leader within the Product Development organization, responsible for the electrical and electronic systems across our entire product portfolio.
This role leads a team of electrical engineers developing complex, connected consumer products from early concept and architecture through design, verification, certification, manufacturing launch, and sustaining engineering. The Director establishes the technical direction and engineering standards for the organization while ensuring programs meet performance, quality, reliability, cost, schedule, safety, and manufacturability objectives.
The successful candidate combines strong technical depth with organizational leadership. They are comfortable moving between product architecture, detailed design reviews, difficult technical problem solving, supplier discussions, organizational planning, and executive-level communication. They develop strong engineers, create an environment of technical rigor and accountability, and work effectively across disciplines to deliver exceptional products.
