Role Overview
The Property Maintenance Invigilator is a practical, hands-on role responsible for supporting the condition, maintenance, and day-to-day functionality of a portfolio of commercial properties and associated facilities.
Based in Bellville, Western Cape, this role involves inspecting properties, identifying and prioritising maintenance issues, completing appropriate minor repairs, coordinating contractors where specialist expertise is required, conducting property viewings, and ensuring that maintenance matters are followed through to completion.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently across different properties and will use sound practical judgement to determine what can be resolved directly and when a qualified tradesperson or specialist should be appointed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated practical experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, general repairs, or a similar hands-on role.
- Strong practical knowledge of common building materials, fixings, tools, and general repair methods.
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, including the ability to identify leaks, minor toilet or drainage
