Network / Hybrid Engineer (Senior & Junior levels needed)
About the Role
PGTEK is seeking a Sr. Network / Hybrid Engineer to support our L100 AI Landing Zones capability. You will design and deliver secure, reliable, and observable connectivity between mission environments and Google Cloud for federal and DoD customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Shared VPC, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPN/Interconnect, segmentation, and network troubleshooting
- Implement solutions using VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, and firewalls
- Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards
- Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant technical or engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, Private Google Access, and packet/flow analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Cisco CCNP
- Experience with Terraform and regulated Google Cloud foundations
Clearance & Location
Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred. Hybrid or remote with travel to customer sites (~10–25%). Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area preferred
