Job Summary

The International Transportation Specialist II serves as an experienced logistics and transportation professional responsible for coordinating, optimizing, and supporting domestic and international transportation activities across the organization’s supply chain network. Operating with a high degree of independence, this role provides centralized oversight of transportation operations, ensuring efficient execution, regulatory compliance, cost management, and service performance.  As the transportation network continues to expand in complexity, both domestically and internationally, this position serves as a key resource for improving operational visibility, driving transportation-related initiatives, and supporting the organization's growth objectives. The role acts as a critical liaison between internal stakeholders, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and distribution partners to ensure seamless transportation execution while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.  The International Transportation Specialist II combines operational execution with analytical and process improvement responsibilities to support a growing domestic and international transportation network. By leveraging transportation data and performance metrics, the role enhances cost visibility, improves efficiency, strengthens compliance, and supports strategic initiatives.
