We are seeking a motivated and analytical Student Assistant to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will support our Supply Chain organization through data-driven analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will gain hands-on experience across Supply Chain processes and develop a strong understanding of how data can be used to create greater transparency, stability, and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing sales order behaviour, identifying critical purchasing items and supply risks, improving existing processes, and developing insights and reporting to support better decision-making across Supply Chain. You will work closely with Procurement, Planning, Sales Administration, Production, and other functions in an international environment.
What will you do
- Analyze sales order behaviour, order patterns, and order changes to identify trends, deviations and potentially restructure "order to ship" flow
- Identify and analyze critical purchasing items based on demand, lead times, supply risk, and business impact
- Develop BI visualizations and dashboards using Power BI to improve Supply Chain transparency and performance visibility
- Support the Supply Chain team with regular and ad hoc data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking
What you bring
- A strong interest in Supply Chain, data analysis, and business processes, with relevant experience from your studies
- Experience or interest in working with data and programming languages such as SQL
- Experience with or strong interest in Power BI and data visualization
- Ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Curiosity and motivation to understand how different Supply Chain functions work together
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive and structured mindset, with a willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and business processes
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
