Location: Virginia Beach, VA Required Clearance: Secret clearance but must be TS/SCI Eligible Certifications: None Required Education: B.S in Computer Engineering/ Science Aerospace Engineering or applicable engineering or science field Required Experience:  Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with degree / 7 years hands-on experience without degree Description PingWind is seeking a Software Engineer who is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that support organizational and customer mission objectives. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions while adhering to established software development methodologies, coding standards, and cybersecurity requirements. The Software Engineer participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Primary Responsibilities Typical Responsibilities/Tasks: •    Proficient in C, C++, and object-oriented software development methodologies.  •    Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver production-ready software in an Agile development environment.  •    Extensive knowledge of autonomous navigation and path planning, including: Waypoint navigation, Geofencing, Dynamic routing, Obstacle avoidance, Collision detection algorithms  •    Extensive experience (5+ years) with BetaFlight, ArduPi
