Subtitling Specialist (Japanese Speaker)

About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Japanese Subtitling Specialist to perform subtitle QC, QA, and technical reviews for Japanese-language content. The successful candidate will help ensure subtitle assets meet client specifications and quality standards for global distribution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Japanese Studies, Media, or related field.
- Japanese language proficiency JLPT N3 or higher is required.
- Strong Japanese and English language skills.
- 1-3 years of experience in subtitling, localization, translation, or media operations.
- Familiarity with subtitle standards and QC processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill
