Business Analyst Junior [PyME Platform]

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our PyME Platform team.

 

The team is responsible for developing and improving Know Your Business (KYB) processes for our business banking products in Mexico. We focus on streamlining company verification, reducing manual work, and improving operational efficiency to make business account opening faster and more scalable.

 

Challenges that await you:

• Analyze the end-to-end KYB process, including processing times, application queues, and repeated document requests
• Define and track operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and measure process efficiency
• Monitor SLAs, team workload, and processing capacity to identify operational risks and forecast resource needs
• Analyze analysts’ daily workflows to identify manual tasks, inefficient steps, and opportunities for automation
• Translate process improvement opportunities into clear requirements and development tasks for Product and Engineering teams
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, including instructions, checklists, and guidelines for complex cases
• Identify inconsistencies in decision-making and help standardize operational procedures
• Support quality control processes through case reviews, error analysis, and identification of recurring issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness

What makes you a great fit:

• 1+ year of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a related role (including internships)
• SQL skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
• Experience analyzing operational metrics, identifying patterns, and preparing reports Understanding of business processes and approaches to process optimization
• Experience documenting business processes, operational procedures, or functional requirements
• Experience creating structured documentation, including instructions, checklists, and process guidelines
• B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team

Your bonus skills:

• Experience working in banking, fintech, or another regulated industry
• Experience working with operational teams, such as customer support, moderation, or back-office operations
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Cursor to build scripts, dashboards, or simple automation solutions
• Experience launching or managing personal projects or businesses
