Why Sony Interactive Entertainment?
Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t just the Best Place to Play — it’s also the Best Place to Work. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is the company behind the PlayStation brand. As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Role overview:
The People Experience (PX) Consultant is a trusted advisor and operational excellence partner to HR Business Partners (HRBPs), senior leaders and employees across EMEA, currently spanning at least eight jurisdictions. Working across SIE’s Corporate and Studios organisations, the role combines day-to-day HR delivery with complex project and change management, helping to drive engagement, performance and organisational effectiveness.
Operating within a global matrix, the PX Consultant provides expert guidance on HR policy, employment matters and best practice, while partnering with HRBPs, in-country HR teams, Legal and Employee Relations (ER). The role will lead and contribute to complex HR projects, organisational design and regional/global initiatives, using strong analytical capability and sound judgement to solve problems, improve processes and ensure high-quality HR delivery.
As SIE continues to centralise and globalise its People model across EMEA, the PX Consultant will play an important role in helping business leaders and the wider People team navigate this transition. Working closely with two Senior HRBP Leads across Corporate and Studios, the successful candidate will need to flex across different business models, jurisdictions and stakeholder groups while helping establish effective relationships between local teams and the central People organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with the Senior HRM (EMEA), HRBP’s, in-country HR Managers and Legal to review, refine, and support the successful delivery of global change management initiatives
- Demonstrate the ability to independently manage and deliver complex HR projects across multiple regions in collaboration with global stakeholders within a highly matrixed organisation
- Work closely with our Legal and ER teams to deliver subject matter expertise on HR policies, practices, and legal requirements across EMEA
- Partner with global PX teams to execute initiatives that promote engagement, belonging, compensation, benefits, and career growth
- Provide operational support in all stages of the performance management process including data calibration, data insights and advice/guidance
- Provide system and logistical support for talent mapping, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Partner with Total Rewards and HRBPs on job architecture, compensation benchmarking, and the internal mobility
- Manage and escalate complex employee and manager issues to our Centers of Excellence (COE) once all possible routes have been exhausted, offering clear recommendations and options.
- Own and maintain a high level of data accuracy and input within Workday and Nexus (Service Now), using this data as a source of insights into continuous improvement strategies&
