About the Role: As a Support Group Facilitator at Plume, you will facilitate groups of Plume members, cultivating spaces for trans, nonbinary, and non-cis people to share their questions, experiences, and wisdom with one another on various topics, identities, interests, and more. This critical role helps empower members with the support they need in navigating their own gender journeys, while achieving improved health and wellness outcomes.    We are currently hiring facilitators for the transfemme and nonbinary groups, though all are welcome to apply.   Essential strengths of a Plume Support Group Facilitator include building trusting relationships and communicating with empathy, professionalism, and inclusivity. The right person for the role will arrive to groups prepared, maintain appropriate boundaries, manage time and group dynamics, navigate sensitive or divisive topics with care, and recognize when concerns must be escalated or referred beyond the scope of peer support. They balance organic peer conversation with purposeful structure by developing intentional sessions with clear objectives, meaningful activities or reflection, and defined participant takeaways. Successful facilitators also demonstrate a deep commitment to supporting their peers and enthusiasm for working in a growing and evolving start-up environment.   This is an Independently Contracted role, with time split between facilitation, preparation, follow-up, and at times, training and consultation. Groups are hosted virtually and are held at the same cadence, day, and time. This contracted role is overseen by the Community Programs & Engagement Manager.
