At Genuit Group, we are focused on creating a more sustainable built environment. This means increasing resilience as buildings adapt to the challenges of climate change, while also reducing the impact the built environment has on the environment.

Our purpose is to address the challenges caused by climate change and urbanisation by providing water, climate and ventilation management solutions. Together, we create sustainable living.

As a growing FTSE 250 business with global ambitions, Genuit offers the opportunity to work across multiple sectors within the Group and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the organisation.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the delivery of SAP transformation across Genuit Group, driving business-critical outcomes, adoption and measurable value across multiple business units and functions.

This role sits within our Group IT & Digital Delivery function and is a senior delivery position focused on leading our SAP transformation journey. You will be responsible for delivering complex SAP programmes from early shaping and discovery through design, build, testing, cutover, go-live and stabilisation.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, suppliers and system integrators to bring structure, pace and control to delivery whilst ensuring alignment between business requirements, process design and SAP solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end SAP transformation projects or major SAP workstreams.
  • Owning scope, plans, timelines, governance, delivery pace and business outcomes.
  • Managing SAP delivery through discovery, design, build, data migration, integration, testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare and transition into support.
  • Building and driving integrated delivery plans across business, IT, supplier and change workstreams.
  • Managing cross-functional dependencies across process, data, technology, reporting, security, testing, training and business readiness.
  • Facilitating workshops to define requirements, shape solutions, resolve issues and drive decisions.
  • Managing and constructively challenging suppliers, third-party partners and system integrators to ensure quality delivery.
  • Owning risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating where required with clear recommendations.
  • Driving business readiness, adoption and change activities to support successful implementation.
  • Providing clear reporting and updates to senior stakeholders, steering groups and programme boards.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on measurable business benefits including efficiency, standardisation, improved controls and operational performance.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering IT, digital or business transformation projects within complex organisations.
  • Proven experience delivering SAP transformation or major enterprise system change programmes.
  • Experience leading SAP projects through key lifecycle phases including design, build, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional workstreams covering business process, data, integration, reporting, testing, training, change and business readiness.
  • Proven ability to manage complex plans, dependencies, risks, issues and governance activities.
  • Experience managing suppliers, delivery partners and system integrators.
  • Strong understanding of how SAP solutions impact business processes, controls, reporting and operational ways of working.
  • Ability to bring clarity, structure and momentum to complex delivery environments.
  • Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration or transformation experience.
  • Experience delivering SAP transformation within manufacturing, engineering, building products, supply chain or multi-site environments.

  • Go-live, data migration, testing and hypercare activities are effectively planned and executed.
  • Business readiness and adoption are embedded throughout delivery.
  • Senior stakeholders have confidence in project status, transparency and decision-making.
  • Transformation programmes deliver measurable business improvements, including efficiency gains, improved controls, standardisation and reduced operational risk.
