Sustainability Specialist
PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Sustainability Specialist in Westport, on a full time contract reporting to the Sustainability Programme Manager. With 1400 styles across more than 20 ranges, we design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
JOB SUMMARY: As the Sustainability Specialist, you will be supporting the group's Sustainability strategy and working closely with the global Business Units to implement improvement projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the implementation of the sustainability strategy across the organisation.
- Drive sustainability initiatives across all business locations, monitoring progress against sustainability objectives and targets.
- Oversee sustainability data collection, analysis and reporting, supporting CSRD and ESRS compliance, materiality assessments and sustainability disclosures.
