Senior Accountant

Our Accounting team keeps the company’s books accurate, timely, and audit-ready, and partners with Finance, Payroll, and the business to turn financial data into decisions. We value sound judgment, clear communication, and continuous improvement, and we invest in automation so our people spend their time on analysis and problem solving rather than manual work. We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team, reporting to an Accounting Manager and working closely with FP&A, Tax, Payroll, AP/AR, Engineering/IT, and our external auditors.
YOUR IMPACT
Why this role exists: to keep Posit’s books accurate, timely, and audit-ready — and to raise the standard for how the Accounting team works. You are singularly responsible for:
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements, reconciliation schedules, and supporting analysis (flux, variance, and trend) for your assigned areas. Serve as the subject matter expert for those areas, including researching and documenting the technical accounting positions behind complex or non-routine transactions.
