System & Network Engineer (Level II) (Remote)

The System and Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining IT infrastructure across multiple client environments. This role involves providing technical expertise in system and network administration to ensure seamless operation and security of both on-premises and cloud-based systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and a variety of firewall technologies, as well as a deep understanding of virtualization platforms, such as VMWare. Experience working with remote access tools, monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems is also required. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Network and System Administration:
• Administer and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies from vendors such as Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto.
• Manage and maintain server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, using Windows Server (2008-2022) and virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user management, group policies, and cloud-based services.
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet to ensure secure remote access and data protection.
