Job Summary
The Shop Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient machine shop environment. This role supports production by ensuring machines and work areas are properly cleaned, maintained, and supplied, while also assisting with preventative maintenance tasks and material handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of machines, including chip removal and full machine clean-outs
- Manage chip handling processes, including collection, transport, and disposal or recycling
- Maintain coolant systems by filling machines, monitoring levels, and assisting with coolant tank clean-outs
- Conduct general shop cleaning duties such as sweep
