Senior Technical Designer - Women's Apparel/Sleepwear
Printfresh is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer to lead fit, construction, garment specifications, and technical execution across our women’s apparel categories, including woven dresses, blouses, sleepwear, and related products.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role responsible for translating creative concepts into beautifully fitting, production-ready garments. The Senior Technical Designer will partner closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and overseas factories throughout the development process, from initial design review and tech-pack creation through fittings, grading, approvals, and production.
The role is based primarily in our Philadelphia office. In-person attendance is essential for fittings and cross-functional collaboration, with some opportunity to work from home when the schedule permits.
Responsibilities
Technical Design and Product Development
- Own the technical development of assigned women’s apparel styles from initial concept through production approval.
- Review new designs and advise on fit, construction, fabrication, proportion, and manufacturability.
- Create and maintain detailed, accurate tech packs, specification sheets, construction details, and measurement charts.
- Measure and spec garments before fittings, ensuring samples and specifications are accurate and ready for review.
