Sanitation Worker (Food Production) - NIGHT
POSITION SUMMARY
A SANITOR is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing processing and packaging equipment per established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs). Responsibilities include the accurate documentation of key sanitation control points in compliance with our sanitation program. Contributor and active participant in our continuous sanitation improvement process.
Requirements
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• 2-year sanitation/cleaning experience preferably in a food manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED
• Computer knowledge and skills required
• Working knowledge of food manufacturing equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to effectively communicate to employees in various positions and at all levels
• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands
OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Clean lines and processing equipment as directed by established SSOPs
• Perform cleaning in place (CIP) and cleaning out of place (COP) procedures as outlined by SSOPs
• Disassemble equipment and change parts as required
• Clean and store utensils in proper location
• Knowledge of assigned cleaning chemicals and their proper usage
