Biomedical Scientist in Haematology & Blood Transfusion

Banding: Band 6

Location: Cumbria

Start Date: End of September/Beginning of October

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: Core hours only

Hourly Rate: £25 - £27

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our client’s team in Cumbria. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Qualifications and Experience

- HCPC registration

- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

- Experience in Haematology & Blood Transfusion within a clinical laboratory in the UK. 

- Experience with Sysmex – XN and CN analysers, Ortho Vision & Telepath LIMS System 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- NHS experience (required)
