Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry and Haematology

Hourly Rate: £27-29 Umbrella

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology and Biochemistry to join our client’s team in Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core and late shifts only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology. You will ensure accurate analysis, maintain quality control, and collaborate with clinical teams.

Qualifications and Experience

- HCPC registration

- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

- Experience in  Biochemistry and Haematology within a clinical laboratory

- Experience with Roche and Sysmex

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- NHS experience (preferred)
