We are currently seeking a Biomedical Scientist specialising in Dissection to join our client’s team in Derbyshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

Will be responsible for undertaking various Dissection responsibilities within the Histology lab. You will be required to work across Cat B,C,D & E. 

Qualifications and Experience

- HCPC registration

- A Histology BMS with dissection experience no formal post grad qualifications, Histology BMS with the DEP in dissection undertaking Cat B & C, or a Histology BMS with the ASD in dissection undertaking Cat D & E

- Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory

- Experience with microtomy and staining techniques

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
