Golf- Irrigation Attendant.
Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a meticulous and skilled Golf Irrigation Attendant to support the effective operation and maintenance of the golf course irrigation systems. The Irrigation Attendant will play a key role in ensuring that all irrigation equipment is functioning properly to maintain healthy turf and landscape areas, contributing to the overall quality and sustainability of the golf course.
This position requires hands-on experience with irrigation systems and a commitment to water conservation practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the golf course maintenance team to troubleshoot issues, perform routine inspections, and assist in repairs to keep the irrigation infrastructure operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain golf course irrigation systems including sprinklers, pumps, valves, and timers.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on irrigation equipment to detect leaks, malfunctions, or wear and tear.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing irrigation systems in coordination with the irrigation supervisor or external technicians.
- Ensure irrigation schedules align with turf and landscape water requirements while promoting water conservation.
- Maintain accurate records of irrigation system operations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Support the implementation of irrigation upgrades or improvements as directed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols when working with irrigation equipment and chemicals.
- Collaborate with landscaping and groundskeeping teams to optimize irrigation coverage and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in irrigation system operation and maintenance, preferably in a golf course or landscaping environment.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation principles, equipment, and water management.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot irrigation system issues.
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of health and safety standards related to irrigation and landscape maintenance.
- Technical training or certification in irrigation technology is a plus.
