CDL-A Railroad Equipment Operator

Heavy Equipment Operator / Class A CDL Technician Location: Regional Travel Job Type: Full-Time Hire with Benefits Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed weekly; significant overtime (60+ combined regular/OT hours per week on average) Availability: 24/7 emergency response, including weekends and holidays Pay: Starting at $26/hour; higher starting rates may be available based on experience. Hours worked outside Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM are paid at time-and-a-half. Per diem, hotel pay for travel, and layover pay may also apply. Position Summary We are looking for a Class A CDL driver with heavy equipment experience to support regional field operations involving railroad recovery, rerailing, equipment transportation, load transfers, and track maintenance. This hands-on position combines commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, mechanical work, and physical field labor. Employees are responsible for safely transporting and operating equipment while supporting field crews and maintaining vehicles and tools in ready-to-use condition.
