Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Mercedes Benz
The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking a Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk with Rallye Mercedes! The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their automotive parts skills and knowledge to engage with a luxury client base, and be a part of an outstanding team!
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments, and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records.
- Determine shipment methods.
- Prepare shipments, including: affix shipping labels, assemble packaging containers, pack parts into containers using spacers, fillers & protective padding, affix shipping instructions, charges, and postage.
- Receive incoming shipments, including: unpack & examine shipment contents, reject damaged items, record shortages, place parts into stock or customer bins quickly and accurately.
- Receive unsold parts returned by parts driver.
- Notify other departments in the dealership(s) when their parts arrive.
