Lead Digital Adoption Consultant
Company Description
Job Description
At Ramboll, our 18,000 colleagues use their expertise every day to shape sustainable societies where people and nature flourish. As the Global Digital Adoption team, we help colleagues embed technology confidently and effectively into their ways of working, so they can spend more time applying their expertise where it matters most.
Are you an experienced digital adoption or change professional who enjoys helping people embrace new ways of working? Are you confident leading adoption initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and building digital capability at scale?
If this sounds like you, then this role could be the perfect next step in your career.
Your new role
As our Lead Digital Adoption Consultant, you will take on a senior role within our established Digital Adoption Team, helping embed tech-enabled ways of working across Ramboll. Acting as a bridge between technology, processes, and people, you will provide strategic adoption leadership to ensure digital products, platforms, and processes deliver measurable value in practice and align with business goals, user needs, and organisational priorities.
You will drive sustainable adoption, build capability, and support the integration of digital products and tech-enabled ways of working across Ramboll Tech, global enablement functions, and Global Business Areas.
You will bring strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and adoption enablement skills, along with a deep understanding of user needs, business context, and digital tools.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Lead initiatives that embed tech-enabled ways of working across a global organisation, with a clear focus on the behavioural change needed to adopt new workflows.
• Take proactive ownership of adoption and transformation initiatives by setting direction and OKRs, driving momentum, and ensuring clear outcomes are delivered.
• Build AI maturity across the business by leading initiatives that increase confidence, capability, responsible use of AI, and global peer learning at scale.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and global teams to understand needs, remove barriers, and create conditions for successful digital transformation.
• Use data, behavioural insights, and feedback to measure progress, demonstrate impact, continuously improve adoption approaches, and develop scalable tools, templates, and frameworks.
• Ensure initiatives align with global frameworks, governance, responsible AI principles, and data, security, and accessibility requirements.
About you:
• You have a university-level education, with experience in digital adoption, change management, or digital transformation within global organisations.
• You have a user-focused mindset with strong empathy for end-users and the ability to translate technical solutions into practical, meaningful value.
• You can work independently with limited supervision, while collaborating effectively, building trust, and delegating to team members where appropriate.
• You’re skilled in developing and delivering adoption plans, training activities, and communication strategies, with excellent communication skills tailored to end-users, technical teams, and leadership.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data and user feedback to identify scalable solutions, continuously improve adoption efforts, and stay curious, adaptable, and open to new products, methods, and ways of working.
When applying, please include a cover letter alongside your CV. We would love to hear about one project where you led the adoption of a digital initiative in a large organisation, including your role, the approach you took, and the impact achieved.
