Product Owner – Hardware & Network Platforms (Renewable Energy - Wind Sector)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead product planning and delivery for our Hardware and Network Platform teams. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, architects, operations teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of hardware and network capabilities that support critical business and operational needs.
The successful candidate will bring strong SAFe expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of hardware lifecycle management, network infrastructure, testing, and release processes.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the team backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives.
Act as the primary interface between stakeholders and development teams.
Define, refine, and prioritize features, capabilities, and user stories.
Drive PI Planning activities and support Agile Release Train (ART) execution within the SAFe framework.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of hardware and network products.
Manage the complete hardware lifecycle, including planning, development, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
Coordinate releases across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Ensure product quality through active participation in validation, verification, testing, and acceptance activities.
Track progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments and proactively drive resolution.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on roadmap, priorities, and delivery status.
Drive continuous improvement in product management, agile practices, and delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Product Owner within Hardware, Infrastructure, Network, or Platform environments.
Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies, including PI Planning, backlog management, and ART coordination.
Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes across technical and business functions.
Experience with hardware product lifecycle management and release management processes.
Strong understanding of enterprise network infrastructure technologies.
Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management, planning, reporting, and tracking.
Experience defining and coordinating testing strategies, user acceptance testing, and release validation.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to work in a global and cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification.
Experience working with global engineering, infrastructure, or operational technology teams.
Understanding of cybersecurity, industrial networks, or critical infrastructure environments.
Experience coordinating deliveries across distributed teams and external vendors.
